Without a valid license key or trial-key, AcuteFinder works in demo-mode. When running as a demo, the program works normally except for a few limits as regards maximum number of folders that will be scanned (10,000), and maximum size of files (2 Mb) that you can delete/move. You can still make great use of AcuteFinder if your requirements fall within the demo limits. The program is yours to keep and you are free to distribute it to your friends and colleagues, by sending them the complete installation file.
AcuteFinder is very easy to use. Just pick the built-in Wizard to get started quickly, or:
- Select the folders that you want to search
- Enter some other criteria, like minimum size of files
- ... and press the Start-button!
You will be amazed how many duplicate files exist on your computer. Now is the time for a real cleanup!
After the search, you can manipulate the resulting list of files, delete extra copies, move them to an archive directory, or whatever. But, remember, YOU are fully responsible for your actions! Removing duplicate files couldn't be any easier. See Help for more info on how to use all the options that AcuteFinder provides.
